Bathroom
Renovations Newcastle

Bathroom design that starts with you and your lifestyle.

Your bathroom is one of the hardest-working rooms in your home and one of the most personal. Done well, it’s a daily pleasure. Done poorly, it’s a daily reminder of every shortcut taken.

At Novocastrian Bathroom Solutions, we design and build bathrooms that perform beautifully for decades. From contemporary minimalist retreats to family-friendly layouts and luxurious primary bathrooms, we deliver a full-service bathroom renovation experience for Newcastle and Hunter region homeowners who value quality, professionalism and a job done properly.

Most bathroom renovation companies in Newcastle are run by tilers, plumbers or carpenters operating under a Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Renovator licence. That licence has limits – and those limits often become your problem when something structural, electrical or unexpected comes up mid-renovation.

NBS is led by Shane Grant, a fully licensed builder (NSW Contractor Licence No. 267690C) and member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA). With a full builder’s licence, we can:

• Identify and repair underlying structural or waterproofing issues before they become disasters
• Reconfigure layouts, knock down or build new walls, and integrate your bathroom with the rest of your home
• Manage every trade in-house – plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, waterproofing, finishing – under one accountable builder
• Sign off on the entire project legally and confidently

For a full breakdown of what this means for you, see our guide on why a licensed builder matters for bathroom renovations.

What makes our bathroom renovations different

Every NBS bathroom renovation begins with design. Our in-house interior designers specialise exclusively in bathroom and laundry spaces – not kitchens, not living rooms. Our team brings their experience of designing hundreds of completed Newcastle bathrooms to help design your dream space.

We don’t work from templates.

Each design is tailored to:

• The way you actually use your bathroom day-to-day
• Your storage, lighting and ventilation needs
• The character of your home and the rest of your interior
• Your budget – without compromising on the elements that matter most

You’ll see your design as a fully rendered 3D concept before construction starts. No imagining. No second-guessing. No expensive surprises during the build.
